DMCA Policy

APOSS respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act on behalf of one) and believe a document on this site infringes your copyright, please submit a written DMCA takedown notice containing all of the following:

1. Your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
2. A clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g., title, author, publisher, ISBN, or a URL to the original).
3. The exact URL(s) of the content on our site that you claim is infringing.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
6. Your electronic or physical signature.

2. How to Submit a Notice

Send your complete DMCA notice via our Contact page. Incomplete notices will not be processed.

Please include "DMCA Takedown Request" in the subject line. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days and, upon verification, will remove or disable access to the infringing content promptly.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

1. Your name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before it was removed.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in your district, and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
5. Your electronic or physical signature.

4. Repeat Infringers

APOSS has a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright.

5. False Claims

Submitting a knowingly false DMCA claim may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including damages and attorney's fees.
